I am the point person for classroom reps again this year!
The important part is that the role of a room rep is unique to you and the specific teacher, and there are no strict “do’s and don’t s”. The best guideline is to start with the teacher and return to him/her for ongoing guidance. The key to being a room parent is to be as creative and resourceful as you can be.
Main job description:
- Teacher support – again depended on specific teachers need
- PTA communication – it will be important that Room reps attend monthly virtual PTA meetings.
