You’re invited to participate in the Hayhurst Elementary School Halloween Costume Contest as part of Hayhurst’s Virtual Monster Mash (Friday, October 30th at 6:30 PM via Zoom, details here). Submission deadline: Midnight, October 28th. See details below.

Submissions

To participate please submit one photo of your child in costume to teacheroutreach@hayhurstpta.org by Wednesday, October 28th at midnight. Unfortunately any submissions after that date will not be guaranteed to be shown during our Hayhurst Virtual Monster Mash. 

Submissions should include:

  1. One photo of your child
  2. Your child’s full name 
  3. What grade they are in!

All submissions will be complied by grade level into a slideshow. The slideshow will be shown during the Virtual Monster Mash and schoolwide voting will occur directly after the slide show by a virtual poll. Prizes will be awarded per grade level and delivered to your doorstep!

Rules/ Costume Guidelines

  1. No costumes that are provocative, revealing, sexual in nature, or employ questionable props.
  2. No costumes that depict violence, alcohol, or drugs. Fake weapons are not allowed.
  3. No costumes that could be offensive or perpetuate a stereotype of someone’s culture, gender, heritage, or religion.
  4. One submission per child. Photos will only be accepted, no videos.
