The Book Fair is Coming Oct. 16-Oct. 20. The Scholastic Book Fair is a great time to find exciting stories for the coming school year. the fair not only provides great books it also funds the Hayhurst Library for all students.
Volunteers Still Needed!
It takes a lot of folks to put this together and the kids get so excited for new books!
Please help by volunteering to plan the fair, run a cash register, help others find books, set up or take down. Check your calendar and see if you can help.

New at Our Book Fair This Year: A Book for Every Child!
At the Book Fair you’ll find a wish list for new books for the Stephens Creek Homework Club and the children they serve. Buy a book from the wish list and it will go directly to students who need more access to great new books and, like all your Book Fair purchases, a portion of the sale benefits the Hayhurst Library!

New at Our Book Fair This Year: Got (Gently Used) Book? Great! Donate them to the Book Fair!
This year, the Book Fair is accepting donations of gently used books. If you have books your children have outgrown or don’t like to re-read, please drop them off in the box outside the library labeled “Book Fair Donations.”
We are going to set up a table of gently used books to “sell” for 50 cents-$1; those donations will be entered as All for Books donations to then use to buy books from the book fair to fulfill wish lists and assist children who have $5 and want to purchase a $5.95 book, etc.
Still Needed: “Older” Kid Books
Thank you so much to those who have already donated books! We have received some lovely picture books for the K-1-2 crowd, but would love to offer some books to the older kids: chapter books, popular series, non-fiction, etc. If you can, please donate books like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dork Diaries, Magic Treehouse, Junie B. Jones etc.
