Congratulations to the Darth Readers who represented Hayhurst at the Oregon Battle of the Books Regionals on March 9th!
They made it all the way to the semi-finals making them one of the top four teams in the region.
Fifth graders Calan, Sachin, Kaleb, Jayden and Dylan have gone to regionals three years in a row and as they move on to 6th grade we wish them lots of luck in their middle school OBOB battles.
Almost sixty kids participated in OBOB at Hayhurst this year and we are so proud of all of them! Can’t wait for next year!
