The PTAs of the Ida B. Wells-Barnett High School feeder schools have joined together to purchase copies of books that will be available to our community through your school library. The books are:

- Who is Ida B Wells? – Middle reader by Walter Dean Myers, Illustrated by Bonnie Christensen
- Ida B Wells Let The Truth Be Told – Picture book by Sarah Fabiny & Who Hq, Illustrated By Ted Hammond
To purchase your own copies of these books or any others, we recommend supporting Third Eye Books (a local Black-owned bookstore) and Annie Bloom’s Books in Multnomah Village.

Three e-book biographies about Ida B. Wells (levels kindergarten to 5th grade) are available for check out in the Hayhurst Destiny catalog.
The Multnomah County Library also has digital copies available throughout March.
