Greetings Hayhurst Families!
Last Monday we had a representative from Kids Heart Challenge (American Heart Association) join us for a kickoff assembly. The Kids Heart Challenge is a voluntary fundraiser to help children who are in need of heart procedures. The major emphasis of the Kids Heart Challenge is to help students and families understand the importance of heart, brain and lung health. This is one way for me to share information and resources with families as a means to promote healthy living. You will see if you signup, there are different challenges students and families can do together at home to build more understanding around these topics.

- Sign up (This is free and students get a bracelet just for signing up)
Some other perks we received: We received a some additional equipment for recess and an extra gift card to purchase equipment for PE/Recess through US games.
