Hayhurst Site Council

| Site Council meetings are an open forum for discussing: – educational issues at Hayhurst – the School Continuous Improvement Plan The School Continuous Improvement Plan is Hayhurst’s plan for ensuring students are getting a great and equitable education in the fundamentals of reading and math, and striving to make progress and improvements in teaching methods, curriculum, implementation, etc, every year. Hayhurst’s SCIP has a core focus on improving educational equity for students of color. The Site Council is an official committee required by law and PPS policy, with operations guided by PPS’s Site Council handbook, and is made up of Hayhurst’s principal, elected classroom teachers, parents and/or community members, and other school staff. And the Site Council’s monthly meetings are open to anyone to attend in person or virtually. Meetings for 2023 are on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in February, March and May.
