Dear Hayhurst Families,
Thanks to ongoing fundraising by Hayhurst chess families, students enrolled in Hayhurst can play free at both the OSCF Individual Championship on April 10 and OSCF Team Championship on April 11. Both events will be held online.
When you register, simply enter the promo code HAYHURSTPTA. This code is valid even if your Hayhurst student hasn’t been enrolled in lessons this year.
There are NO qualification criteria this year. Usually, students must have at least 8 rated games, but that requirement has been waived for this year’s championship.

OSCF Individual State Championship on April 9-10, 2021
Individuals will be placed in divisions based on playing strength. There are divisions for beginners, so everyone can have a good time.
OSCF K12 School Team Championship on April 11, 2021
Register your child and the organizer will make sure they are placed on a team with other Hayhurst students.
