This March in Hayhurst Library we are celebrating Read Across Differences Month, a spin on Read Across America. All K-5 students are invited to participate by completing one or more of the Read Across Walls challenges to stretch their reading horizons through trying new types of books than they usually read. The Read Across Walls initiative was started by author and cartoonist, Gene Luen Yang.

Game papers were sent home March 2-4 from library lessons. They are due to Hayhurst Library no later than Friday, April 1st, and prizes will be given out the following week in April. Extra copies will be available in the library the month of March or can be downloaded and printed at home by clicking this link.
