As always, our school community relies on the hard work of so many volunteers. We at the PTA are grateful to the team that makes our lunch program go – and gives teachers a longer break! And to the many others who fill roles putting together this email or helping raise funds or in the art classroom or working with teachers or throwing fun parties or all of the above. Grateful, grateful.
In the new year, we are in need of a few more folks to sign up to join in for this work:
- Interested in waste reduction and climate change? Then be part of our Sustainability Team. We work at lunch to keep food waste out of landfill and recycle what we can – a Hayhurst tradition for over a decade.
- Enjoy organizing (stuff that is not yours)? Then help a team working to organize the PTA closet at the school.
- Love connecting with local businesses or finding awesome auction prizes? We are getting to work on a virtual auction for the spring – let us know if you can help!
